Masculine Male Face

What is a masculine male face anyway? Is this important?  Why should you care?  Aren't you just stuck with the face you have?

No. You aren't stuck with anything.

You can improve whatever part of you that you want. Even your face.

It was a few years after I had left my wife.  I had been making serious improvements in my life.  I went from a hen-pecked, belittled married man who looked pale, flabby, ugly glasses wearing, buttoned-up shirt, clean shaven just like every other man with a sub-standard life to none of those things.

So I was starting to notice men who were still living the small, terrible lives that I had escaped from.

What a Masculine Male Face is Not

I was at an engineering meeting years ago and was shocked to see all the men at the meeting, except me, without a masculine male face. They all did almost everything wrong.

Clean shaved face

They were all clean shaven.  No mustaches. No beards. No goatees. No stubble. Not even a hint of sideburns. Not a hint of beard to be found.

They wanted to blend into the surroundings. A masculine male does not blend in, he stands out.

You have to get it out of your head that you need to be clean shaven all the time. That is the wrong way to look at it. You want to look tough. You want to look rough. You want to look like a man. The rounder, softer and younger you look, the more this matters.

How Beards Make You More Attractive to Women

A huge bushy mountain man beard that you do not tend for months is not what I am talking about unless you are in a work field where you can get away with it.

In most office or professional fields, you need an under control type beard where it looks like you need to tend to it every few days.

But you do need some type of facial hair.

Glasses

They all wore glasses.  With contacts so much cheaper than good glasses, this is just hard to believe in addition to making you look dweeby and dorky.

If you need more power to see just carry along some reading glasses that you wear as as needed. That is what I do.

I just pull out my reading glasses throughout the day when I needed to study plans or do some reading. But mostly I just keep them them off.

Has there been one movie where the leading man wore glasses?

You will not look good with glasses, no matter how how much you spend on them.

Buttoned up shirts

They all had their button down shirts buttoned all the way up to the top.  One guy even had the top one buttoned and he was not wearing a tie.

You shouldn't go into a business meeting with your chest hair showing, but you can open up the top 1 or 2 buttons and have your clean, white t-shirt showing. You should be tending to your chest hair anyway and not let it get too unruly.

The top few buttons open is a comfortable, open, relaxed, masculine look.

Keep the top 2 buttons unbuttoned most of the time. You should unbutton another button or so when you get out of the office and into real life.

One guy even wore a tie and we were all architects and engineers just talking to each other. Another guy wore a sweater over a buttoned up shirt. You need to open up and be more relaxed.

Puffy face and Thin Neck

They were all puffy in the face and thin in the neck.

This comes from too many carbohydrates and not enough meat. You want to get leaner in the face which means eating right. Lots more meat and hardly any carbs. These guys all had the puffy face that is not good. Too much junk food and not enough heavy lifting. They can work a pencil and computer for 10 to 12 hours a day but not much heavy iron.

Do the shrugs, deadlifts and rack pulls.  You should do some neck exercises to develop a bigger neck.

The Wrong Hair

Their hair was mostly the a little too busy on the sides, or they had the hairstyle of a 10 year old boy.

It's better to keep your hair nice and tight, maybe even shaved if you are balding.

Pale face

They looked like they had not been in the sun for years.

The sun is free and is your friend. You need some color to your face.

Most men work inside all day.  You have to find a way to get outside when you can...lunchtime, breaks, late afternoons, weekends, holidays, vacations.  If it is sunny, get outside.

You don't need a ton of time either.  Do what you can.

Quizzical face

A quizzical  face comes from years of poring over plans, spreadsheets, reports and computer screens.  Worrying about minutia and things that do not matter that much.

I know I used to care about this stuff too much. But after going through all the problems leading up to me leaving my wife, all this stuff does not matter that much to me.

I know you need to focus on your work.  But you also need to focus on your life.  Try to look more amused, than quizzical.  Smile and smirk instead of frown and look perplexed.  Some facial hair helps a lot.  So does thinking about women you've been in bed with or the weights you lifted or mountains you've climbed.  Have a few great moments to reflect back on to improve your mood during meetings.

Great Example of a Masculine Male Face

Facial hair instead of clean shaven. Open shirt instead of buttoned up. Contacts instead of glasses, Hair shaved. Smirking look instead of quizzical. A bit of color.

Final Thoughts on a Masculine Male Face

Work on making changes to yourself to develop a masculine male face.

It's fun and some of this is not very difficult.  Just let your beard grow.  Get some sun.  Don't button your shirt all the way up.  Relax and enjoy life.  Wear contacts, not glasses.  Lift weights.  Making a better life for yourself is not all difficult hard work.  These actions are easy.

Look a little more rough and tough.  You will be more successful, a little edgier and enjoy life more.
