Thanks for the article - sometimes I agree with you, other times not so much.

I guess civil engineers earn good money so here’s some advice for the rest of us - who ever lay on their death bed and said “what a shame, I wish I’d done more overtime”?

When to retire is certainly a huge subject and needs to be evaluated on an individual basis.

I do love to read stories of people who retired early and I know quite a few people who did retire in their late 50's and some more who are planning on it. But when I compare the enormous problems I faced and the loss of money, I feel like I need to keep working.

I feel blessed to have a great job and wanted to at least show people that working a little longer does not have to be a life of misery.
